Is the free plan really free, forever?
Yes. Capture, analyze, export, import, screenshot and record up to one-minute videos, no account, no card, no time-out. We monetise longer recordings, cloud storage and the team features.
What does "bring your own S3" mean for the bill?
The S3 storage fees come from AWS (typically a few cents/GB/month). webQsee never touches that bill. We charge for the metadata service and team coordination.
Can I trial a paid plan?
Yes. Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, self-service, right inside the extension or the web app. One trial per team. For larger rollouts talk to us and we will arrange a longer evaluation.
Do invited team members need their own paid account?
No. Invited members inherit your team's tier. They can still keep a separate free account for personal work if they want to.
Refunds?
Pro-rata refund within 14 days of purchase (standard EU consumer law). After that, you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
VAT?
Prices are shown net. Austrian VAT (20%) applies for private EU buyers. EU business customers with a valid VAT-ID can apply reverse-charge.
What is the "webQsee badge" on downloads?
Screenshots downloaded as a file on the free plan carry a small "Captured with webQsee" badge in the corner. Videos never do, and captures shared through a cloud link never do either. Any paid plan removes it everywhere.
Do you take promo codes?
Yes. The checkout has a promo-code field, and seasonal offers are applied automatically when they are running. Codes stack with the 7-day trial.
